Basically, it's a good game, but there is a drop in quality anywhere it branches off from the original. It seems I have a lot of negative to say, but that's because it doesn't do much new from the original beyond amazing graphics. Sand Mountain was my favorite in the original lookswise, but they added an ugly blue fog to everything in the remake, which really sucks. There is a difference in the movement (Sandy's rope now feels very rigid) and the added detail sometimes makes it hard to tell where you can or can't jump. It's just mindless wave-based gameplay, and multiplayer kept dropping me.
